Mercado Pago: cuenta digital saw its downloads decrease from 673K in the last week of September to approximately 490K by the end of December. However, the app's weekly active users peaked at 16.3M in November before dropping to 13M at the close of the year.
PicPay: cartão, conta e pix experienced a significant surge in downloads, jumping from 311K to over 1.2M in November, and then a sharp decline to 370K by year-end. The app's active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 9.4M in December and then falling to 7.7M.
Nubank: conta, cartão e mais maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from 432K to 488K in mid-December, before a drop to 361K. The app's active users saw a steady rise, reaching a high of 18.7M in November.
CAIXA, the app from Caixa Econômica Federal, had a consistent download range between 304K and 415K during the quarter. Weekly active users for CAIXA saw a peak at 14.5M in early November, with a dip to 13.9M at the end of December.
Lastly, Santander Brasil showed a relatively stable download figure throughout the quarter, hovering around 175K to 215K. Active users reached a high of 7.35M at the end of November but saw a decrease to 6.75M by year's end.
